Kazakhstanis win 24 medals at Asian Karate Championship

The Asian Karate Championship among juniors and youth has ended in Almaty, El.kz reports with reference to olympic.kz.
Kazakhstan won 24 medals at the tournament. Thus, our karatekas won eight gold, five silver and 11 bronze medals.
In the team competition, Kazakhstan became the second, losing to Japan.
It should be added that the Asian Karate Championship among adults will be held next.
