Kazakhstanis in age over 50 offered free online training in IT specialties
Kazakhstanis in the age 50 or more are given the opportunity to receive free training in IT specialties, El.kz reports citing the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This project, called the "Silver Age", is implemented through the Skills Enbek platform. Here you can find the section of the same name, where the available courses are listed. At the moment, the catalog includes more than 100 training programs covering the areas of marketing, tourism, IT, agribusiness, finance, education and social services.
As part of the IT direction, the following courses are offered:
Development of moving images (Motion design);
UI/UX design;
Basics of creating websites;
Introduction to Java programming for beginners;
Basics of Android app development.
Students can choose their preferred language of instruction and the format of presentation of educational materials, as well as monitor their progress in the learning process. At the end of the course, students are issued certificates, which are automatically recorded in the resume on the job search site (enbek.kz), which allows potential employers to see all the acquired skills.
