Kazakhstanis can travel to Thailand without visa for 30 days
The government of the Republic of Kazakhstan has approved an agreement with Thailand on mutual visa exemption for holders of national passports, El.kz reports.
According to the document, citizens of each of the countries who have valid travel documents for a period of six months or more can enter, leave, transit and temporarily stay in the territory of another country without a visa for up to 30 calendar days at a time. In total, a visa-free stay should not exceed 90 days in every 180 days.
Tourists planning to stay in the country longer than this period need to apply for a visa. The agreement also states that each of the parties can refuse entry to its territory to citizens of the other country at the discretion of its border or immigration authorities.
