Kazakhstani schoolchildren to study history of country in multimedia format
The National Museum launched an educational project "Study Day at the Museum". As part of it, students of grades 5-9 will study the history of Kazakhstan and world history through offline and online communication with guides, El.kz reports.
Classes include the consolidation of theoretical knowledge and will be held daily until the end of the academic year.
"As a pilot project for the current academic year, we chose 37 topics of the history of Kazakhstan textbook. All thematic content is prepared by researchers and experienced specialists of the National Museum. Before the start of the project, we did not want to be limited only to the capital's schools. In the age of new information technologies, using its capabilities, we have come to a common opinion that more than 7500 schools in the country represent values in the National Museum. Therefore, our classes will be held in two different formats: both offline and online," Aibek Sydykov, Deputy Director of the National Museum said.
The cultural and educational project is implemented free of charge, taking into account the booking of lessons by school teachers in advance.
