Kazakhstani wins bronze at WorldSkills Competition 2022
A graduate of Kazakhstani college Dina Afanasiyeva won a bronze medal in the Web Technologies competence at the WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition, El.kz reports with reference Kazakh Enlightenment Minister in Telegram Channel.
It is the country’s first medal in the most prestigious international vocational competition.
The WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition was held between October 9 and 17 in South Korea.
Last year, as a student of Pavlodar College, Dina already won a bronze medal at the EuroSkills Graz 2021 European Championship in the direction of "Web Development".
“Congratulations to Dina on her victory! Her work, knowledge and perseverance will be a good example for all college students in our country. I also thank my colleague, a teacher of the capital's college Aizhan Ziyadanova, with a brilliant result of the student. I believe that new victories and new peaks are waiting for Dina ahead," Askhat Aimagambetov wrote.
He noted that more than 60 countries take part in the WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition in 63 core and 1 demonstration competence. The national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan takes part in the championship in 30 competencies. Competitions are held in 16 cities of 10 countries and will last until November 28.
