At the international boxing tournament in Bulgaria, Kazakhstanis won 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Sports.
In the weight category up to 67 kg, Dulat Bekbauov became the best, who defeated the Indian Rajat in the decisive match - 3:2.
In the category up to 51 kg, Sanjar Tashkenbay lost to another representative of India Amit Pangal (silver medalist of the World Championships) - 0:5. In the weight category up to 80 kg, Tursynbai Kulakhmet, losing in the semifinals to an ethnic Kazakh from China Toktarbek Tanatkan, won bronze.
178 fighters from 28 countries took part in the competition.
