The tournament of the second category - J200 DELHI - ended in the capital of India, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Tennis Federation of Kazakhstan.
The most titled pair of Kazakhstan under the age of 18 - Aya Nupbai and Asylzhan Arystanbekova - confidently beat the duo from Thailand in the final with a score of 6:3, 6:2.
"It's nice to win the tournament at the beginning of the year. I am very pleased with my current level and hope that I will continue to be in the same form. Thanks to my partner, Asylzhan, we had difficult matches at the tournament, but we coped with them," Nupbai said.
Last year, kazakhstani women together won seven tournaments of the ITF Juniors series, and there are already 10 such victories.
"This title is very important for us because it is the 10th in our careers for Aya and me. Winning the trophy at the beginning of the new tennis season will give more energy for the whole season. Thanks to the Tennis Federation of Kazakhstan and the entire coaching staff of the Team Kazakhstan Academy," Arystanbekova said after the game.
