Kazakhstani student wins award at international competition in France
A student from Akmola region won a medallion at the International Competition of Excellence Abilympics in France, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the Department of Technical and Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education, on March 22, the X International Olympiad of Professional Excellence for students with special educational needs "Abilympics" started in the French city of Metz.
The Kazakh delegation of young professionals was represented by 38 college students who had previously passed the national selection. Among them are masters of information technologies, technical and creative professions of East Kazakhstan, Akmola, Pavlodar, Kostanay, Aktobe regions, the cities of Almaty and Shymkent. It should be noted that Kazakhstani students took part in this event for the first time.
The first medallion was brought to the treasury of the Kazakhstan national team by a second-year student of the multidisciplinary college of the village of Krasny Yar, Akmola region, Albina Albekova. It became the best in the competence "Dress making, basic".
