Kazakhstani reaches final of Qazaqstan Barysy Grand Slam 2024

Kazakh athlete Galiya Tynbayeva (-48 kg) reached the final of the Qazaqstan Barysy Grand Slam in judo in Astana. In the semifinal fight, she defeated the silver medalist of the World Championship, European champion, winner of the Grand Slam stage, French athlete Shirin Boukley, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Judo Federation of Kazakhstan.

In the final, Galia will face the champion of the Grand Slam and Grand Prix tournaments Sabina Giliazova (AIN).

Also, the leader of the team Eldos Smetov, performing in the weight category up to 60 kg, will compete for a bronze medal.

The final fights of the tournament, held in the capital's Martial Arts Palace named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov, will begin today at 17:00.
