QazTrade builds up trade and economic relations with European partners
Within the framework of the official visit of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the French Republic, a meeting of the Kazakh-French investment round table was held, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of QazTrade.
At the round table, QazTrade Trade Policy Development Center JSC and Malteries Soufflet, one of the world's largest malt producers, signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at expanding export-oriented malt production in Kazakhstan and promoting it in the markets of neighboring countries.
"The long-standing traditions and culture of malt production of Soufflet Group in Kazakhstan are successfully implemented on the basis of Jsc "Malting Plant Soufflet Kazakhstan". The design capacity of the enterprise is 80 thousand tons of malt per year. The company has similar production facilities in France, Romania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan," the press service said.
Premium Kazakhstani products are in high demand in the EU market.
Also, the Kazakhstani company, a participant of the QazTrade Accelerator Program, Karaganda-Sturgeon LLP signed a commercial contract for the supply of sturgeon caviar with Caviar House Airport Premium SA and Swiss Choice Holding SA.
