Kazakhstanis can fly direct flights to 29 countries of the world. Domestic flights are operated by 5 domestic airlines on 57 routes with a frequency of 687 flights per week.
So, in 2022, new routes Almaty - Milan were opened by NEOS, Almaty - Heraklion (Air Astana), Almaty - Nha Trang (Vietjet Air), Turkestan - Kuwait (Jazeera Airways), Almaty - Ankara and Astana - Ankara (AnadoluJet) and Almaty - Ankara (Pegasus Airlines), from Almaty to Surgut, Tyumen and Novosibirsk, from Astana to St. Petersburg. Flights from Almaty to Ashgabat were also restored by Turkmenhavaellary Airlines.
It is expected to open flights from Aktau and Shymkent to Ankara, from Almaty and Aktau to Medina, from Astana to Nha Trang from December 25, from Astana to Baku, from Shymkent to Dushanbe during the spring-summer navigation of 2023.
At the same time, Air Seychelles plans to open flights between Kazakhstan and the Seychelles in the direction of Almaty - Mahe from December 26.
Kazakh airlines plan to open flights to Pakistan from Astana and Shymkent to Karachi, to increase the number of flights to India on the route Almaty - Delhi, to China on the route Almaty - Chengdu, to the UK on the route Almaty - London and others.
