15-year-old Kazakhstani athlete Yana Moon won gold at the World Taekwondo Championships in the Netherlands, El.kz reports with reference to the National Taekwondo Sports Federation ITF.

The championship was held in the Netherlands. More than 600 athletes from 30 countries took part in the competitions.

Kazakhstan was represented by a delegation of 28 people. Athletes won more than ten silver and bronze medals. It should be noted that this event took place despite the restrictions that began due to Covid-19.

The competition was held from July 26 to August 1. Kazakhstani athletes won more than 20 bronze and more than 10 silver medals.
