Vice Minister of Energy Zhandos Nurmaganbetov met in Seoul with representatives of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of South Korea, as well as the supplier of nuclear technologies - Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP), El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.

It is reported that during the meeting between Kazakhstan Nuclear Power Plants LLP and KHNP, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed in the field of nuclear energy development.

"The signing of this Memorandum will contribute to strengthening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and South Korea in the development of atomic energy," the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan noted.
