Institute of Economic Research is conducting a study to develop a rating of the quality of life in cities for the third year in a row, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The study provides for a sociological survey of residents of 25 cities of Kazakhstan in order to measure the quality of life and the level of comfort of living of the population.

The survey covers such aspects of the life of a city resident as the quality of educational and medical services, the availability of basic goods (water, light, heat), employment, self-development, leisure, the state of urban infrastructure, mobility, urban environment, ecology and others.
