In Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development from August 1, 2022 to January 2023 introduces a ban on the export of coal abroad, the El.kz reports.
The ministry justifies the decision by increased exports to neighboring republics, which affects the provision of the domestic market. This decision was also supported by the Interdepartmental Commission on Foreign Trade Policy and Participation in International Economic Organizations
The order shall enter into force 10 days after its first official publication.
