In the 2021 ranking on the level of development of innovations, Kazakhstan took 79th place out of 132 countries, El.kz reports with reference to Ranking.kz.

The Innovation Index includes 80 different variables that characterize in detail the innovative development of countries at different levels of economic development.

Switzerland, Sweden and the United States open the rating, Angola closes. Among the CIS countries above Kazakhstan in the ranking were Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Armenia, below - Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan
