Kazakhstan takes the 28th place in the development of "e-government" in the UN Global E-Government Development Index, stepping up from the 29th line. This was announced in his post on Facebook by the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, El.kz reports.

"Let me remind that in order to compile the rating, UN experts assess the development of electronic services and human capital, as well as telecommunications infrastructure.

The last time this rating was presented in 2020. Despite the heavy workload on the infrastructure of the domestic e-government, the coronavirus pandemic and other nuances, we have systematically improved our performance in a couple of years.

The development of the digital government is under special control of the Head of State, who notes that it is the digital transformation that determines the competitiveness of the country.

I will add that we are not going to stop at the achieved results, but intend to constantly improve the quality of domestic information and communication technologies in order to get into the top 20 of the UN in the foreseeable future!" Bagdat Musin wrote.
