Kazakhstan opens National Pavilion on world`s largest B2B platform
Among CIS and EAEU countries, Kazakhstan pavilion became the second after the Russian Federation at the site of the Alibaba.com.
On June 24, 2022, the opening ceremony of Kazakhstan National Pavilion was held on the international electronic platform Alibaba.com, El.kz reports.
The opening ceremony of the pavilion was attended by Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Torebayev, General Director of “QazTrade” JSC A.Askaruly, Vice President of Alibaba.com Andrew Zheng.
"Today, e-commerce is growing dynamically, it is a global trend, which Kazakhstan is successfully trying to meet. Thanks to cooperation with Alibaba, many Kazakhstani companies have mastered e-commerce channels as a tool for proactive promotion of their products to foreign markets.
The opening of the country pavilion at the Alibaba site is a confirmation of the increased demand of foreign buyers for products from Kazakhstan placed on the platform," Kairat Torebayev said.
"The tool for promoting domestic companies to marketplaces has shown its effectiveness and relevance. Those companies that really get the skills of trading on electronic platforms make profitable sales on them” general Director of JSC “QazTrade” said.
Today the Country Pavilion includes 130 domestic companies in the status of a gold supplier, which put up for sale more than 7500 goods.
