The Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan adopted Order No. 514 of September 14 on limiting the export of coal from the country by road, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry.
A temporary ban is imposed in connection with the discovery of facts of export of solid fuel intended for the population, municipal and social facilities from the border regions of Kazakhstan to neighboring countries for resale.
The decision was developed jointly with coal mines and regional akimats to achieve the goals of the heating season 2022-2023, and is aimed at preventing a shortage of coal during the period of active demand from the population and the utilities sector.
