Kazakhstan increases financing of agriculture
The state will continue to expand support for producers, including through subsidies and increasing the availability of credit resources.
Kazakh PM Alikhan Smailov held a meeting with agricultural producers of Kostanay region, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the department.
The meeting discussed issues of processing and export of agricultural products, job creation, subsidies, preferential lending, irrigation, fodder procurement, etc.
"This year, the volume of financing of agriculture has been doubled. The development of the agro-industrial complex has the key importance from the point of view of ensuring food security and strengthening the social sphere. We want to increase productivity in the industry and efficiency from each tenge invested," the Prime Minister said.
As for him, the Ministry of Agriculture is reviewing all the requirements for entrepreneurs in this area, about 20% of them will be reduced. Accordingly, the administrative burden on business in the near future will decrease.
