Kazakhstan wins three gold medals at Asian Youth Championship

The V Asian Athletics Championship among boys and girls under 18 was held in Tashkent. More than 300 athletes from 29 countries took part in the competition, El.kz reports with reference to Olympic.kz. The national team of Kazakhstan included 58 athletes. This number is a record. During the competition, athletes of Kazakhstan won three gold medals: Anastasia Koloda - 400 meters with hurdles, Ivan Sening - decathlon, Irina Konishcheva - heptathlon. Ekaterina Koloda - 400 meters hurdles, Elmira Kabirova - pole vault, Sofia Kidenko - 400 meters, Arina Malyugina - high jump, Ayana Bolatbekkyzy - 1500 meters, women's relay team received silver medals. Five athletes of the national team of Kazakhstan won bronze medals: Maman Nurdaulet – javelin throw, Elizaveta Yakimenko – triple jump, Bogdana Grigorieva – 3000 meters, Maxim Balabin – pole vault, Mukhametkali Reza – pole vault.
