Kazakhstan wins 3rd gold at Asian Para Games 2023

Two Kazakh judokas met in the men’s 73 kg final bout at the Asian Para Games 2023 in Hangzhou. As a result, Asylkhan Nurdauletov secured gold, while Yergali Shamei grabbed silver,El.kz cites the Kazakh Tourism and Sport Ministry.

David Degtyarev and Akmaral Nauatbek pocketed gold medals in powerlifting and judo correspondingly.

Besides, Bauyrzhan Arystanbekov won bronze in the men’s 90 kg J1 judo finals, and Dinara Kudzhulova grabbed bronze in the women’s 70 kg final bout.

As of now Kazakhstan ranks 7th in the overall medal count with 15 medals, including 3 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze.
