Kazakhstan uses Dutch technologies in production of medical equipment

The Minister of Health Azhar Giniyat held a meeting with the head of the department of international markets, Vice-President of Royal Philips Edwin Paalvast, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The sides discussed mutually beneficial cooperation in a number of areas such as the localization of the production of medical equipment in kazakhstan, the joint development of cardiology, centers for the protection of motherhood and childhood, support in stroke programs through the use of high technologies, as well as partnership in projects to modernize the health care system, including e-health.

"We welcome the transfer of Dutch technologies, including the implementation by the company of projects aimed at introducing modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of diseases, making an active contribution to the development of the health care system of the Republic of Kazakhstan," Azhar Giniyat emphasised.

She also told representatives of Royal Philips about the privileges of Kazakhstan's legislation and state support measures that allow developing technology transfer and own production of original medicines.

The parties intend to develop a joint Roadmap for the implementation of the above areas of cooperation.
