At today’s Government meeting, Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akmaral Alnazarova presented the key areas of implementation of the President’s instructions outlined in the Address to the Nation on September 8, 2025, El.kz reports.
According to her, the Ministry of Health continues large-scale reforms: developing medical infrastructure, expanding pharmaceutical production, digitalizing processes, and providing social support for doctors.
By order of the Head of State, the ministry is preparing a Comprehensive Plan for introducing a healthcare quality management system based on AI technologies.
“AI will be integrated into the Unified Healthcare Payment System, as well as into the monitoring of medical organizations after licensing and accreditation. We are also working on introducing an expiration period for medical licenses,” Akmaral Alnazarova noted.
She emphasized that particular attention is being paid to the safety of healthcare workers:
“In cooperation with JSC "Kazakhtelecom" and local executive bodies, 2,100 ambulance teams will be equipped with video badges, and 644 hospital admissions departments will receive video recorders.”
