Kazakhstan to participate in eight prestigious international competitions
The Kazakhstan national team will participate in international competitions at the period from the end of May to beginning of June. In this sports calendar of the country, there are several prestigious tournaments and championships where Kazakhstani athletes will represent the country and compete for medals, El.kz reports citing the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
From May 19 to 27, ISSF Junior World Cup Rifle / Pistol / Shotgun will take place in the German city of Suhl. 19 athletes from Kazakhstan will participate in the competitions.
The second leg of the Mare Nostrum Swim Tour 2025 will be held in Barcelona (Spain) on May 21-22. The Kazakh team will be represented by 8 top swimmers ready to demonstrate a high level and win prizes.
From May 22 to 25, The 2025 AKF Senior Karate Championships to be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Kazakh national team consists of 16 athletes.
At the same time, from May 22 to May 27, Kaunas Junior European Cup 2025 will be held in Kaunas, Lithuania. The Kazakhstan team includes 7 wrestlers.
In Saint-Maur, France, from May 23 to May 25, the Fencing World Cup will take place, where 9 Kazakhstani athletes will represent the country, demonstrating skill and strength in combat sports.
On May 24-25, 2025, the ancient city of Samarkand will host the World Triathlon Cup. Five athletes will represent Kazakhstan.
The sports week will conclude with the international traditional archery tournament Fetih Kupasi in Istanbul, Turkey, from May 25 to 29. More than 200 athletes from 15 countries, including the Kazakh team.
