Kazakhstan to launch portal for migrants
Kazakhstan is launching a specialised portal for migrants, El.kz reports citing data from the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.
The new migration resource portal, migration.enbek.kz, is a platform that combines tools for effective management of information about incoming foreign citizens, and is also aimed at improving the quality of public services in the field of migration.
"Thanks to the centralization and unification of data on migrants, it will be possible to simplify and synchronize procedures related to migration processes, ensuring more efficient data management and reducing the time and resources required for their processing," the official statement says.
The portal offers a wide range of public services in the field of migration, including: the assignment of the status of "Qandas", inclusion in the regional quota for migrants and kandas, the assignment of the "Ata Zholy" card and other services.
