Kazakhstan to host Grand Prix Qualifier in taekwondo

Kazakhstan has officially received the right to host the qualifying stage of the Taekwondo Grand Prix. This decision was made at the meeting of the World Council of the International Federation, which took place in Fujairah (UAE), El.kz reports citing the press service of the National Olympic Committee.

The presentation prepared by the Kazakh side was supported by the council members.The tournament, which will take place next year in Astana, will be a key stage on the road to the 2028 Olympic Games.

The strongest taekwondo athletes from around the world will come to the capital of Kazakhstan to compete for Olympic licenses.
