Kazakhstani women’s hockey team won silver at the U18 World Championship Division IIA held in Latvia, El.kz reports.
In the decisive game of the World Championship, Kazakhstan defeated Latvia 7:4, securing a respectable second place in the competition.
Goalkeeper Veronika Ageyeva was named as the best player of our team. She played five games, two of which kept a clean sheet, saved 97 of 104 shots.
