On behalf of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, 1,659 tons of humanitarian cargo were allocated from the state material reserve to support Afghanistan in eliminating the consequences of the devastating earthquake, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Humanitarian cargo (flour, rice cereals, vegetable oil, canned milk, bedding, clothing), formed in 27 railway cars, was sent from the city of Almaty and the Karaganda region. The loading was provided by servicemen of military units 28237 and 52859 of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
