Kazakhstan tennis player Elena Rybakina in the match 1/8 of the finals of the British Open tennis championship won Petra Martic (80) from Croatia in two sets, El.kz reports.
Thus, the score of personal meetings became 2:0 in favor of Elena.
Note that for our compatriot this is the first exit to the top eight of Wimbledon and the second quarterfinals of the Grand Slam tournaments in her career (after Roland Garros-2021).
In the fight for reaching the semifinals, Rybakina will face the winner of the pair Alizée Cornet (France) / Ajla Tomljanovic (Australia).
