Kazakhstan receives award at tourism exhibition in UAE

Kazakhstan was recognized as the best trending destination for tourists from the Middle East at an exhibition in the UAE, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The largest tourism exhibition in the Middle East, Arabian Travel Market 2023, was held in Dubai. Kazakhstan also took part in the event, which brought together 2,000 exhibitors from more than 150 countries and more than 34,000 visitors.

13 travel companies, 5 hotels, Air Astana, the tourism department of the city of Shymkent and the Zhetysu region were presented at the stand of our country. The stand was opened by NC Kazakh Tourism JSC with the support of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the UAE.

At the Versatile Excellence Travel Awards ceremony held within the framework of the exhibition, Kazakhstan received an award as the best trending destination for travelers from the Middle East.

During the exhibition, domestic companies signed several agreements with foreign partners and held a number of bilateral meetings with international travel companies focused on sending tourists to Kazakhstan.
