Kazakhstan ratifies land lease for USA consulate in Almaty
The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed the Law "On the Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the United States of America to lease land for the construction of a U.S. consulate in Almaty”, El.kz reports citing Akorda.
The agreement regulates the legal and organizational aspects of the provision of a land plot for rent to the U.S., intended for the construction of buildings and infrastructure for the consular representation in the southern capital of the country.
The document is the result of bilateral negotiations and aims to strengthen diplomatic ties between Kazakhstan and the USA, as well as to improve the conditions for providing consular services by the American side.
