Kazakhstan prepares for Games of Future
Minister of Tourism and Sports Yermek Marzhikpayev met with representatives of the international company Phygital International to assess the preparation of the Games of Future in Kazakhstan in 2026,El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the ministry.
The international company Phygital International is the copyright holder of the international multisport tournament "Games of Future". Phygital International's inspection visit to Astana will be held from May 15 to May 18, 2024.
"Currently, together with the eSports Federation, we have begun preparatory work for the Games of the Future, which we plan to hold in 2026 in Astana. The Ministry will take all necessary measures to ensure a high level of organization of this sports championship in Kazakhstan," Yermek Marzhikpayev said.
On October 1, 2024, the winner city of the Games in 2026 will be announced.
Recall that at the opening ceremony of the Games of the Future on February 21 this year in Kazan (Russian Federation), the Head of State proposed to hold the next competitions in Kazakhstan.
According to the instructions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Games are planned to be held in Kazakhstan in 2026
