Kazakhstan has launched applications for two free educational programmes in the fields of information technology and digital creativity. Prospective learners may apply to Tomorrow School, a programming school that follows a peer-to-peer learning model without traditional instructors, while young people aged 12 to 18 are invited to enroll in the TUMO Astana programme, which focuses on digital creative disciplines, El.kz reports.
Tomorrow school opens applications for future software developers
Tomorrow School has announced a new admissions campaign across several regions of Kazakhstan. Applications are open to anyone interested in learning programming, with no prior experience required.
The selection process includes the Piscine, an intensive assessment phase during which applicants complete a series of practical programming tasks. Candidates who successfully complete this stage are admitted to the programme.
The curriculum is based on a peer-to-peer learning model, in which students collaborate, solve problems independently, and develop project-based solutions without traditional classroom instruction. Participation in the programme is fully funded and free of charge.
Application deadlines are as follows:
- Shymkent, Pavlodar, Petropavl and Kostanay – until 17 July 2026;
- Astana – until 24 July 2026;
- Semey and Kokshetau – until 31 July 2026.
TUMO Astana invites teenagers to join digital creativity programme
Applications also remain open for TUMO Astana, a programme implemented through Astana Hub.
The initiative is designed for young people aged 12 to 18 who are interested in emerging technologies and digital creative industries. Participants may study a range of disciplines, including animation, programming, design, music, and robotics.
The programme is provided free of charge and follows the internationally recognized TUMO educational methodology, which combines self-directed learning with mentor-guided support, enabling participants to build individualized learning pathways while developing practical skills.
Applications may be submitted through the tumo_astana service available on the Astana Hub platform. The programme announcement does not specify a fixed application deadline.
