Kazakhstan is negotiating with 26 countries on introduction of visa-free regime

Among them are such states as Austria, Saudi Arabia, San Marino, Bahrain and others, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The issues of expanding the list of countries whose citizens can apply for an electronic visa to Kazakhstan and the abolition of the invitation requirement are also being considered.

In addition, the issue of simplified issuance of visas for residents of the UAE is being discussed.

"Kazakhstan is of interest to foreign travelers and the ministry is working to fully unlock the tourism potential of our country. Including by increasing the flow of inbound tourists. Moreover, the ministry is already implementing mechanisms to improve migration control.
