25.09.2025 16:58

Kazakhstani startup Higgsfield AI has unveiled the country’s first virtual singer powered by AI – Kion, El.kz reports.

The team announced the first-ever world tour, AI World Tour KION 2026, and released the debut full-scale AI music video, “Kion – Stay Mad,” fully generated using Higgsfield x KLING technologies.

Higgsfield AI Startup

The company first made headlines in 2024 when it raised $8 million in investments, and in early 2025 it was included in Google’s list of the world’s top 25 startups. Higgsfield AI was founded by Kazakhstani Yerzat Dulat and former head of Generative AI at Snapchat, Alex Mashrabov. The startup went viral on social media thanks to its technology for generating short videos from text prompts and cinematic-quality effects.

Who is Kion

Kion is not just an image but a fully-fledged digital artist with a stage persona and backstory. The “Stay Mad” music video showcases AI’s ability to create not only visuals but also character. This approach paves the way for new opportunities in marketing, education, and entertainment.

Kazakhstani Team

Higgsfield’s team includes about 30 people, most of whom are based in Kazakhstan. Six of them are winners of international Olympiads. The startup focuses on working with businesses, offering companies ways to cut content production costs.

There are still some limitations – the maximum video length is 13 seconds, and copyright issues remain unresolved. However, support from Google and attention from global stars such as Elon Musk, Snoop Dogg, and Madonna give hope for rapid growth.

Higgsfield AI demonstrates that Kazakhstani developers are not only capable of creating trends but also of setting the tone for global digital culture.
