Kazakhstan enters TOP-30 countries with best pension systems

Kazakhstan took 26th place among 71 countries at Allianz Pension Index (API) rating, El.kz reports citing ranking.kz.
The API takes into account the sustainability and adequacy of the pension system, as well as the impact of demographic factors.
Kazakhstan entered the top 30, gaining an indicator of 3.5.
According to the report, Denmark became the best pension system with a score of (2.3), followed by the Netherlands (2.6), Sweden (2.6), Japan (2.7), and New Zealand (2.8).
According to UN forecasts, by 2050, the number of people over 65 will almost double to 1.58 billion. At the same time, there will be 26 retirees for every 100 working-age citizens, compared to 16 currently.
