Kazakhstan appoints Ombudsman for Rights of Socially Vulnerable Categories of Population

The Head of State signed a decree on the appointment of Seitzhan Kenzhegul  to the post of Ombudsman for the Rights of Socially Vulnerable Categories of the Population under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, El.kz reports with reference to Akorda.

Seitzhan Kenzhegul, a well-known member of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a member of the People's Party of Kazakhstan faction, an active participant in the public sphere, specializing in social well-being projects.

Kenzhegul holds a master's degree from the University of Reading (UK) and speaks Kazakh, Russian, English and Japanese. He is known as an outstanding athlete in Paralympic sports.

Seytzhan Kenzhegul is the champion of Kazakhstan in 2017 and 2019 in the Paralympic sport "Goalball", as well as the champion in paracycling in 2021 and 2022.
