Kazakhstan and US discuss cooperation in field of geology

Within the visit of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Geology Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Akbarov met with the US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Kazakhstan Daniel Rosenblum, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of ministry.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of long-term mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of geological study of subsoil, and a memorandum was also signed.

By the way, it is planned to cooperate in terms of exchanging experience and increasing competence in the geological study of the subsoil, assistance in attracting modern technologies for geological and geophysical research, especially in terms of mapping, modeling and forecasting methods on a regional scale, as well as in conducting joint scientific seminars, round tables and workshops.

Following the meeting, the participants expressed gratitude for the meeting and stressed the importance of further relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United States.
