Kazakhstan and Turkey agree on joint development of seed production
The countries will also conduct joint research in this field
Kazakhstan and Turkey will cooperate in the field of seed production. The corresponding Memorandum was concluded by the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture and Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In addition, the parties agreed to conduct joint research in the field of seed production, as well as to train Kazakhstani specialists and farmers in modern technologies of agricultural production in the Republic of Turkey.
Turkey intends to cooperate with Kazakhstani seed producers. To this end, a delegation with representatives of 41 Turkish companies arrived in our country for negotiations. As part of a working visit to Kazakhstan, the Turkish delegation visited the Alexander Garden fruit growing company in Shymkent. On 15 of the 200 hectares available at the enterprise, seedlings of apple trees of the varieties "Golden Delicious", "Djeromi", "Fuji", "Gala", "Greni Smith", delivered from Turkey, were planted.
