Kazakhstan and Qatar aim to enhance strategic partnership
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the State of Qatar Arman Issagaliyev met with the Minister of Municipality of Qatar Abdullah bin Abdelaziz Al Subaie, El.kz cites MFA.
During the conversation, Ambassador Issagaliyev gave detailed information about the new goals and objectives set for the Government in accordance with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s State-of-the-Nation Address “Economic Course of a Just Kazakhstan”.
In this regard, it was noted that Kazakhstan considers the State of Qatar as an important and reliable partner in the region in the implementation of important investment and infrastructure projects in the country.
The Kazakh diplomat also informed that the delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin will take part in the next meeting of the Joint commission, which is the main mechanism for the comprehensive development of bilateral relations, set to be held in Qatar in October this year, as well as in the opening ceremony of International Horticultural “Expo 2023” in Doha.
The meeting of the joint intergovernmental commission, aimed at developing mutual trade and investment relations, will complement the business forum with the participation of more than 150 Kazakh and Qatari entrepreneurs.
The Minister of Municipality of the State of Qatar noted that the economic partnership between the two countries, including in the field of agriculture and food security, has a great potential, and stressed that all the necessary conditions are in place to increase the volume of mutual trade.
In this regard, the parties discussed a plan for mutual visits and participation in international events on the territory of both countries in order to expand the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Qatar.
