Kazakhstan and Moldova discussed issues of cooperation in infrastructure projects
Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Moldova Almat Aidarbekov met with Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development of Moldova, Lilia Dabija, El.kz cites MFA.
During the meeting, parties discussed bilateral cooperation. Ambassador Aidarbekov informed about the political transformations and social-economic development in Kazakhstan.
In turn, Minister Dabija spoke about the implementation of the Ministry's projects, including the participation of the Kazakh side in the modernization of the strategic part of the Moldovan railways. She also informed about the prospects for cooperation on other similar projects, as well as priority infrastructure projects in which Kazakh companies could participate both in the capital and in the regions of Moldova. At the same time, Minister invited Kazakh investors to participate in projects for the construction of roads and social facilities.
The parties paid an attention to the promotion of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, as well as the development of logistics.
In conclusion, parties agreed to hold regular meetings and expressed interest in the exchange of experience in all areas of mutual interest.
