Kazakhstan and Moldova discussed cooperation in energy sector
Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Moldova Almat Aidarbekov had a meeting with the Minister of Energy of Moldova Victor Parlicov. During the talks a wide range of bilateral cooperation, including in the energy sector were discussed, El.kz cites MFA.
Ambassador Aidarbekov informed about the political, democratic and constitutional reforms in Kazakhstan initiated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, on economic priorities, investment cooperation and trade and economic cooperation with the European countries, where partnership with Moldova has great importance.
Minister Parlicov positively noted the political and socio-economic transformations in Kazakhstan and confirmed his readiness for further development of partnership in the energy sector, which has untapped potential. He also gave a detailed information about priorities of the department headed by him.
The parties paid attention to the ongoing bilateral projects in Moldova, in particular, in the field of modernization of railway infrastructure, promotion of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor), establishment of mutual energy supplies, as well as other projects in the fuel and energy sector and logistics
