Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to enhance coooperation in AML/CFT training
Representatives from the Academy of Financial Monitoring “AML Academy” in Kazakhstan and the Training Center of the State Financial Intelligence Service under the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan met on the sidelines of the 39th EAG Plenary Meeting in Sanya, China, El.kz cites gov.kz.
The meeting resulted in the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) aimed at strengthening collaboration and establishing partnership between the two educational institutions.
The MoC outlines a framework for joint educational activities and scientific research, internships, and study visits to facilitate knowledge exchange and enhance the skills of AML/CFT specialists in both countries. Additionally, the agreement provides for mutual participation in international symposiums, colloquiums, conferences, workshops, and seminars, further promoting the exchange of best practices in AML/CFT training.
The MoC is expected to serve as a valuable foundation for developing and upskilling AML/CFT professionals in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, contributing to the overall effectiveness of their respective national AML/CFT regimes.

The Training Center of the State Financial Intelligence Service under the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan is a dedicated training facility for AML/CFT specialists in Kyrgyzstan. The Center provides a variety of training courses and seminars, as well as conducts research and develops AML/CFT training materials.
