Kazakhstan and Huawei sign memorandum of cooperation in field of digital education
The new agreement will open up opportunities for the implementation of advanced technologies in the country's educational system.
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Huawei signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at developing digital education, El.kz reports.
The meeting of the Kazakh delegation, headed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek, with the leadership of Huawei was held in China. At the talks with the company's Vice President Li Junfeng and Max Zhao Xu, CEO of Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan the prospects for cooperation in the field of digital transformation of higher education were discussed.
The signed memorandum provides for the implementation of pilot projects of smart classrooms in 2025, as well as the creation of unique opportunities for students: internships at Huawei, participation in international competitions and job fairs that contribute to the employment of graduates.
During the visit to the Huawei headquarters, the Kazakh delegation got acquainted with the company's advanced solutions: cloud platforms, innovations for digital classrooms and research centers. Particular attention was paid to the Smart Classroom concept, which represents modern technologies for learning.
Cooperation with Huawei creates the foundation for the training of a new generation of ICT specialists and strengthens Kazakhstan's international position in the digital economy. This step will also be an important element of the state digitalization strategy aimed at improving the quality of education and developing a competitive knowledge economy.
