Kazakhstan and Germany discuss cooperation in field of geological research
An important step in the development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Germany in the field of geology was made during the visit of the Minister of Industry and Construction to Saudi Arabia, where a meeting was held with Peter Buchholtz, head of the German Mineral Resources Agency (DERA), El.kz reports citing the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This event reflects the desire of both countries to deepen cooperation in the field of geological research and the efficient use of mineral resources.
Special attention is paid to the partnership between the National Geological Survey (NGS) and DERA. The signing of the memorandum of cooperation this year in Astana, in the presence of the President of Kazakhstan and the Federal President of Germany, was an important stage in strengthening ties between the two countries.
The meeting at the Future Minerals Forum in Saudi Arabia was an excellent opportunity to discuss further strategies and prospects for cooperation in the field of geology and digital technologies.
This partnership project aims to develop methodological approaches to laboratory research in geology, which can lead to new discoveries and more efficient use of the natural resources of both countries.
