Kazakh President receives German economic delegation

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the German economic delegation, the Akorda press service reports.

During the meeting, issues of trade, economic and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Germany were discussed.

Welcoming the representatives of the German Government and business, the Head of State noted the interest of our country in deepening partnership in such priority areas as energy, industry, agriculture, transport and logistics, education, science and training of technical personnel.

Currently, the Government has prepared a pool of potential investment projects consisting of 800 projects. Kazakhstan is also ready to create favorable conditions for attracting German companies to our country.

"Germany is the most important partner of Kazakhstan in the European Union. More than 600 enterprises with the participation of German capital are successfully operating in Kazakhstan. There is significant potential both for the growth of trade and for increasing the volume of investments," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
