President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev thanked Ilham Aliyev for an invitation to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan, Akorda reports.

"First of all, I want to thank you for your hospitality. I am glad to pay an official visit to your country for the first time as President of Kazakhstan. Undoubtedly, today's visit is of particular importance to me. Following today's talks, a number of documents will be signed. I am sure that they will bring bilateral cooperation, Kazakh-Azerbaijani relations to a new level," the Head of State said.

Ilham Aliyev noted that the visit of the Kazakh President to Azerbaijan will make a significant contribution to strengthening cooperation between the two nations.
