Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated over the phone 15-year Alan Kurmangaliyev on winning a bronze medal at the 26th Asian Junior and Cadet Table Tennis Championships, held in Vientiane, Laos, El.kz reports with reference to Akorda.
The President noted the historical significance of this achievement for the national sport and thanked Alan for his skill wishing him new bright victories in the future.
Alan Kurmangaliyev became the first athlete in the history of table tennis in Kazakhstan, who won a medal at the Asian Championships.
