Kazakh PM holds Commission on Economy Demonopolization meeting

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov held a regular meeting of the Commission on Economy Demonopolization, which considered the activities of the National Center of expertise and certification JSC and Liquefied Petroleum Gas Storing Park LLP, El.kz cites primeminister.kz.
Chairman of Agency for Protection and Development of Competition Marat Omarov said that at present the National Center of expertise and certification JSC is being investigated for abuse of dominant position, in terms of establishing monopolistically high prices.
Also, according to him, the agency continues to investigate the LPG Storing Park LLP on the issue of establishing a monopolistically high prices for liquefied petroleum gas and transshipment and storage services.Prime Minister instructed to continue work in these areas, as well as to prepare appropriate proposals and submit them to the Commission.
